This project derived from Studio Von reacting to a call out from Christian O’Connell on local radio station GOLD 104.5 FM to help with the branding for their fundraising initiative with Hawkers Brewery. They were in motion to create a craft beer to help raise money for communities in need after the devastating bush fires in early 2020 but didn’t have a substantial brand look and feel to match the grand nature of the strategy.

After many rushed discussions with the team and a day on the tools creating some packaging and branding concepts – the new look and feel for Heroes Gold – bush fire relief Fundraising beer was born.

We went on to assist the activation for the campaign, creating the look and feel for the call-to-action billboards, signage, digital assets and other branded collateral to help promote the drive to a nationwide audience. People reacted and the first batch sold out within days. The brand was a huge success and we are proud to play a part in this story of Australian spirit and ingenuity to band together and raise money for a good cause.
